Coritiba’s membership plan for Turkey was officially launched this Thursday (4th) for Coxa fans in this European-Asian nation and also for Alex fans. Four lucky folks received from Alex, the idol himself, the gift of a complete package and Classic Plan. The first Turks to be part of the Coritiba fan club were Umit Karan, Cengiz Coskun, Irmak Atuk and Dohukan Manco, finalists from the most widely-viewed show in the country, Survivor.
The four participants were at Couto Pereira, the stadium of Coritiba, attending a match from the Brazilian Championship. As part of the prize for one of the challenges, they won a trip to Brazil, tickets to a game at Couto Periera and the opportunity to meet the soccer star, Alex. And it was at this meeting they were given their Coritiba membership cards.
“I felt something different for the first time in my life, I felt like part of a club. Now, I wear the Coritiba shirt and feel like a Coritiba fan. And I loved being here,” said Dohukan Manco.
The ceremony where the four reality show finalists were given their gifts was part of the publicity for announcing the Cortiba membership plan for Turkey. After the program aired, hundreds of Turks went on the social networks Facebook and Twitter to contact the club to find out more about this type of membership that will draw them closer to their idol, Alex, and the club with thousands of Turks in Brazil, Coxa.
