Launched in 2011, Coritiba Retribui (Coritiba Gives Back) is a program created as a way to thank society for the years of commitment and dedication to the club fondly known as Coxa. Social and environmental actions are undertaken with the clear objective of direct assistance through donations and other philanthropic activities.
“This is a permanent program involving social and environmental actions through which Coritiba seeks to pay back the societies of Curitiba and Paraná for the growing support provided over the years, by means of club actions and projects in partnership with charity institutions”, summarized the administrative vice-president of the club, Mr. Vilson Ribeiro de Andrade.
The club believes that by creating a permanent plan in a joint effort with leading charity institutions and regulating these activities in its calendar places it a step ahead of other sporting organizations, as environmental and social issues are increasingly recurring, especially within institutions of high representativeness.
Now, in 2013, the goal of Coritiba Retribui is to significantly extend the number of actions and entities assisted, in addition to implementing new projects that allow the program to be recognized as a benchmark in charitable actions in the state of Paraná, thereby aligning itself with the strategic vision of Coritiba Foot Ball Club.
