The superintendent of football, Felipe Ximenes, shares the same view and stressed the work being developed at Coxa and also the strength that Coritiba supporters provide the club in its drive for continued betterment. “I am certain we have a long way to go, the road we traveled is long, but what we have ahead is even greater. We need to believe in the supporters more and more, to believe in the strength of Coritiba, believe that we can be greater, and that is what we are working towards”, he stated.
Trusting the Alviverde project, athletes make commitments to Coxa and are now working hard in national championships, striving for victories for the club.
This is the case of Alex, initially revealed by Coritiba, who returned to Couto Pereira after becoming an idol at Fenerbahçe, in Turkey. And Coxa’s #10, who has always declared himself an avid Alviverde supporter, has already proven decisive in the 2013 State Championship, having already tallied 15 goals.
Lincoln has also passed through such clubs as Galatasaray, also from Turkey, and Kaiserslauten and Schalke, from Germany, and has been at Coritiba since 2012. He is popular among Coxa-branca supporters and decisive thanks to his experience.
Another athlete that played in Turkey, at Fenerbahçe, and who is today part of the Coritiba team is Deivid, who became famous in Brazil after playing on teams like Santos, Corinthians and Flamengo. “Coritiba offers excellent infrastructure, has a large fan base and management with ambitious plans. The contract of almost three years, up to the final of the Paraná State Championship of 2015, shows that everything is planned. I will always do my best so that Coxa attains its objectives”, said the striker.
